Up until 2am...

So this is what I did last night. The first is just a silly layout, no pictures of a snapshot in history - what happened on 08/08/08. There is a list of 8 of my favorite things, 8 prices of my most purchased objects, and 8 headlines of what happened in the news. I've had this list completed for a long while now, just haven't had a chance to get it scrapped. Kinda boring, but oh well....

And while I was into the clipped corners, here is Ethan's Baptism layout. I wanted it to be special because he is Han's Godson. So if you look closely, all those swirly lines are HAND STICHED to the paper. And yes, that is why I was up until 2:00 in the morning.

Employee Appreciation Party

The beginning of the evening, when we still had class, lol. And yes, that is ALL my hair.

The Quote girls....all of our men were taking pictures, hopefully there is one that we are all looking in the same direction. But I guess 3 out of 5 ain't bad!

These two are the other side of my cube wall...Kayleigh (AKA Kiwi) to the left, Heather (AKA Creeper) to the right.
Lovebaby!

Hahaha, don't judge. It was a joke, I wasn't drinking them both....

We all "won" cowboy hats.

At the afterparty...so happy to be in sneakers!

Hahaha, I must make my momma proud!

Two layouts

It's been a while since I've posted anything....and I'm a little behind. Here's the layout from July 4th weekend in Pittsburgh (See, I told you I was behind!). I sewed the flowers to eachother with buttons to give it a cleaner look. The picture of Kayla with the fireworks and the picture of me and Hans open to show additional pictures and journaling. The small title is housed on a 2/5" circle clip from the Cricut "Printing Press" cartridge.

Here's a fun one of Hans and Chloe (Nate and Sara's dog) playing. For some reason, they like to bite each other. I don't really get it, but hey...it makes them both happy. The background paper is from DCWV Safari Chic pack and my favorite part is the GoldenRod Bazzil cardstock that I slopped with texture paste, and then plopped a pawprint stamp while it was still wet to deboss/mask the pawprint. Kinda cool if you ask me.

Thanks for looking! And Mom...Katie....get to work! I want to see some creativity on those blogs!
